I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt
of your telegram of the 31st.ultimo to the following effect:-

did Solly decline appointment. Telegraph reply.
Send home paper of particulars as to appointment,"
and to inform you that. I have this day transmitted to you
the following reply:-
